Access Agriculture

Access Agriculture facilitates the translation and distribution of agricultural training videos in developing countries. It was established by three world-leading media companies, each with their own expertise, and with support from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the Global Forum for Rural Advisory Services (GFRAS) and the Sustainable Agriculture Initiative (SAI) Platform. The Access Agriculture website offers a platform for sharing and downloading training videos in many languages. People can: i) submit their videos for hosting on the Access Agriculture, or upload videos directly on AgTube; ii) do an easy search on key words or on languages to see what videos are available; iii) download any video and related audio and text documents after having registered; iv) request translations in new languages for existing videos of interest to their farmers; and v) request support in the national or regional distribution of multi-language DVDs and in the monitoring of distribution and use of training videos.
